Soldier Renews Vows at Airport

GRAPEVINE, Texas (AP) - Their "I do's" happened again after he
did -- return from Iraq. The wife of a Texas soldier surprised him by wearing a wedding dress so they could renew their vows at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport.

Staff Sergeant Paul Marler of Killeen and his wife, Melissa, have been married five years. She was on hand yesterday when he stepped off a plane after seven months in Iraq.

The 25-year-old beaming bride carried yellow roses and shed a few tears of joy. Airport officials provided a cake and a chaplain. The Grand
Hyatt D-F-W offered the hotel's presidential suite for the night.

Melissa Marler says she and her 28-year-old spouse have spent
just one other anniversary together. The other times he was on duty
in Cuba, Korea and Bosnia.

They were married on July 15th of 2001.
