7-21-06 - Two employees working the graveyard shift at a Sherman outdoor store turned the monotony of the late hours into a concert. At 4am on Friday morning, Keith Brumlow and Travis Wadley were in the parking lot of Gander Mountain cranking up the tunes.
The pair work as night watchmen for Gander’s outdoor tent sale – meaning they spend long hours outdoors making sure the merchandise stays put. But protecting the merchandise from thieves can be an energy drain. So the two lifelong friends came up with a way to stay alert – music.
They said several people stopped by during the early morning hours – most headed to a nearby restaurant for an early breakfast.
