DENISON, Tex. ― Denison police are asking for your help to find a man who robbed a local restaurant.

Police say a man walked into Mr. Jim’s Pizza on West Morton Street Thursday night wearing a mask and pointed what they say appeared to be a revolver at the cashier.

"The suspect is described as a white man about 6’5” tall, wearing a dark colored sky mask, dark colored jacket, and dark colored gloves, possibly blue jeans," Lt. Mike Eppler of the Denison Police Department said.

Officials say the man left the business with cash in hand going eastbound.

To say guns kill people, or that they cause crime is just dumb. People that have no scruples or are desperate do these things. To ban guns is a stupid idea & would be the true crime - how in the world would us honest people protect our homes & families then??

Bob from denison at 6:12 am, u hit the nail on the head, yes if every business would have one behind the counter this might stop a bit of the problem, shoot there sorry butt

Posted by: Detective Futz on Nov 21, 2008 at 04:16 PM
The most important issue here is finding the gun that perpetrated this crime. For all we know, the man holding the gun was merely being held hostage by the evil pistol. This is why we need to ban guns... because they cause crime!

you are going to see more and more of this over the next several months as "THEY" continue to destroy our economy.. Better prepare for your family now...

Why is it that there has to be such stupid remarks? We don't even know what the vehicle looks like, much less where they were from. Comments are welcome, just not stupidity.

Maybe they got tired of their pizza always being F'ed up and decided to take their money back forcefully. I know I have wanted to do that, but instead, I just quit going to this H--- Hole of a pizza place.

Camera's. Can we get some camera's up in this restaurant? Even though he wore a mask, it may have done some good.

No description of the car because it was a Texan Meth Addict who was too stupid to realize that there was not enough money in that little restaurant to risk armed robbery. Especially on a week day.

Sorry, but Denison has it's fair share of meth addicts not to mention crack addicts. Why are you blaming Okies when it is a NATIONAL problem?

Posted by: what on Nov 21, 2008 at 08:05 AM
No description of the car? If they know where he is headed don't you think they would know if it was a car or truck, color and possibly the make and model?

Posted by: bob Location: denison on Nov 21, 2008 at 06:12 AM
See thats why we got to have guns. If the guy working would have had one blam he could have saved his $$$$$.
