08-03-06 – Firefighters in Grayson County are battling a several grass that are threatening at least one home.
The fires began about 4PM on Thursday afternoon on Highway 11 between Luella and Tom Bean.
There is no word on exactly how large the fires are, but officials say they’ve already burned at least 30 acres.
Life Star has been called out to help firefighters gage some kind of perimeter of the fires. Northbound traffic on Highway 11 is being diverted, though southbound traffic is still passing through.
