SAN FRANCISCO (AP) - A U.S. Army soldier wanted in a murder-for-hire plot in Ada, Oklahoma, has been arrested in San Francisco after arriving on a flight from South Korea where he was deployed.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers say 26-year-old Michael Crawford was arrested Tuesday at San Francisco International Airport.

Crawford is charged with conspiracy in federal court in Muskogee for allegedly plotting with the two Ada women to have his wife killed.

Prosecutors say Crawford and Tonia Mullins discussed killing his wife to collect a $250,000 life insurance policy and get married.

Crawford's aunt - Regina Hercules - was accused of offering to help pay a hit man.

Mullins and Hercules have each pleaded guilty to conspiracy and murder-for-hire charges.

that is just sick! My husband serves in the US Army and that is just sick, how some one could do that he ruined his life and he will pay one way or another. I hope it is long and suffering.

I wish I could say the world is getting more and more crazy but when we live in a world where we will elect someone who wants to take what we have and give to people with out our consent...well look for people to just get more selfish and think that they can get by with anything. The biggest problem with America is not the economy it is the social acceptance that whatever you want to do you should be able to do. I hope these ladies and the person who tried to hire them go to jail for a very long time and maybe there they will have things taken from them with out their consent...Oh and you bleeding hearts bring it on.
