08-11-06 - A drowsy driver may be to blame for a wreck that blocked the northbound lanes of Highway 69-75 in Bryan County Friday morning.
Authorities say the driver of a semi was southbound between Calera and Colbert when he lost control, hit a power pole then crossed into the northbound lanes where the truck tipped on its side.
The driver will be fine, but northbound lanes were blocked for hours, well into the morning commute. Traffic was diverted on Leavenworth Trail and through Colbert to Highway 78.
No other vehicles were involved.
