DURANT, Okla. -- Police in Durant are looking for whoever stole over $50,000 worth of utility equipment from a Durant business early Wednesday morning.

Five side-by-side Kubota utility vehicles were stolen from Texoma Utility Equipment about 1:40 Tuesday morning. Those vehicles sell for roughly $10,000 each.

Manager Kyle Richardson says they do have surveillance video of the heist, and that this is not the first time his business has been targeted by thieves. Burglars got away with over $100,000 in equipment in a similar heist in January.

"The video shows what appears to be a heavy-set white male and a slim black male loading the vehicles onto what looks like a green semi truck with a flatbed trailer," Richardson said.

Police are reviewing the video as part of their investigation.

If you have any information about this incident, you are asked to call the Durant Police Department or Texoma Utility Equipment at 1-800-444-9142.

Look. What can I say? I have some bills that are due, Christmas is coming. I had to do something for money. Besides, I have a brother, and one of the items on his Christmas list was "Kuboda Utility Vehicle," so I was really just killing two birds with one stone!

I realize that everyone thinks that all 3 or 4 cops that this city has on duty at any given time should be everywhere at once but it doesn't really happen that way does it. So my comment to Durant is that if you think you can do better than our officers do then why don't you go put in an application? You can sit here and run them down but we all know who you will be calling when you need someone to save you from a sticky situation.

Beginning to sound a little fishy to me! I live near this place...it's a busy street...someone would see something going on.

Ok, so you have already lost $100,000 in supplies and you don't put in a good surveillance system and have ANOTHER $60,000 in supplies stolen less than a year later??!!! When you have $100,000 of equipment stolen, it's time to hire a night guard.
