Suspected kidnapper caught in Cooke Co.
COOKE COUNTY, TX ― A suspected kidnapper was caught in Cooke County Thursday night. DPS Troopers say Jose Luis Figueroa is accused of kidnapping his estranged wife and two children from Illinois.

COOKE COUNTY, Tex. ― A suspected kidnapper was caught in Cooke County Thursday night. DPS Troopers say Jose Luis Figueroa is accused of kidnapping his estranged wife and two children from Illinois.

Figueroa was attempting to make it to the Mexico border when he stopped at the Oklahoma-Texas border, fell asleep in the vehicle, and his three victims escaped.

The suspect is in the Cooke County Jail. He will be extradited back to Illinois, where he faces kidnapping and domestic violence charges.
