Reward offered in Sherman man’s shooting death
SHERMAN, TX ― Nearly two months after an 80-year-old man was found dead in his Sherman home, authorities say they still need answers.

SHERMAN, Tex. ― Nearly two months after an 80-year-old man was found dead in his Sherman home, authorities say they still need answers.

Sherman police are now offering a $5,000 reward for information regarding the death of Clyde Guess. Guess was found dead from a single gunshot wound in his home on Brockett Street on October 22.

Police say a 911 call was made from the home before the body was found, but no one was on the line when dispatchers answered.

If you have any information you are asked to call the Sherman Police Department at (903) 892-7290. Authorities say information about the case will be kept confidential.
