SHERMAN, TX ― Many residents bundled up Monday and hit the stores to take advantage of holiday sales.

Many Sherman Wal-Mart shoppers said they had no choice but to brave the cold because they wanted to get everything on their list.

Shopper Darlene Reeds says she tried not to think about the cold but rather the warm feeling she has when she is giving to others.

“No I didn’t think it would be this cold, but it’s OK. There are a lot of people that are unfortunate that can’t go into a warm house," Ms. Reeds said.

There are just three full days of shopping left until Christmas.
