We would like to say thank you to everyone that donated to our Toys for Tots Drive. Because of your donations, we were able to reach our goal of collecting 30,000 toys for needy children all over Texoma.

We also have received thousands of dollars in monetary donations as well. Because of the economy, more families came forward with requests for help, but your donations have met those families’ needs.

Resident Michael Goforth says it makes him feel good to know that he is able to give children something that meant so much to him growing up.

"I think about the other people, and it’s different, but it makes Christmas bigger and better so I’m glad to do it," Goforth said.

Thank you to everyone who bought toys or made monetary donations.
