Suspected bank robber turns himself into Ardmore PD
ARDMORE, OK ― A suspect wanted in the November robbery of a Stillwater, Oklahoma, bank surrendered to authorities in Ardmore over the weekend.

ARDMORE, Okla. ― A suspect wanted in the November robbery of a Stillwater, Oklahoma, bank surrendered to authorities in Ardmore over the weekend.

The FBI says 23-year-old Ricky Dean Turner turned himself in about 4 o’clock Sunday morning to Ardmore police shortly after he ran away from a car accident he was involved in.

Based on a tip provided to the FBI, Turner was identified as a suspect of the November 29, 2008, robbery of IBC Bank at 1900 N. Perkins Road in Stillwater, Oklahoma.

Turner is being held in the Carter County Jail and faces federal bank robbery charges.
