Two police officers in the Pushmataha County town of antlers were fired without explanation after arriving at work on Thursday.
The city manager says the assistant police chief, Captain John Arthur, and Officer David McGee were let go.
The city says Arthur has been with the department about seven years. McGee has been with the force less than a year.
The city attorney says litigation is still pending, and it's too soon to comment on why the two were fired.
