Passenger Plane Diverted to OKC

08-25-06 - A U.S. Airways passenger jet on a flight to Charlotte, North Carolina, Friday was diverted to Oklahoma City after a federal air marshal subdued a passenger who was involved in an incident with a flight attendant.

A spokesman for the airline said the airplane landed at Will Rogers World Airport and law enforcement officers were questioning the passenger. No word on the nature of the problem between the passenger and the flight attendant.

The twin-engine jet left Phoenix at 6:15 a.m. with 141 people aboard. It will now resume its flight to Charlotte.
