9-25-06 - Oklahoma and Texas have some of the nation's lowest gas prices. Denison continues with some of the cheapest in the Lone Star State with prices at $1.99/gallon while Oklahoma ranks just behind Missouri for the cheapest in the nation.
In Oklahoma, the average cost of regular gasoline fell to a statewide average of $2.14 Monday.
According to Triple A's Daily Fuel Gauge report, Oklahoma trails
only Missouri in the cost of gasoline and diesel fuel. The average
cost of one gallon of regular gasoline in Missouri was $2.11 Monday, and diesel fuel was $2.46. The cost of diesel fuel in Oklahoma was
$2.49 per gallon.
