ARDMORE, Okla -- A man caught with two pounds of marijuana is behind bars.
Kevin Wayne Halstied, 46, was arrested on drug possession charges
Tuesday. Authorities say the arrest was a joint effort between Ardmore Police, Marietta Police, Chickasaw Nation Light Horse Police and the Carter County Sheriff's Department.
Officers executed thet search warrant for Halstied in the 200 block of 12th St. southeast in Ardmore.
Public Information Officer Robin Beal says Halstied is believed to have been a major local supplier.
"Now that's a significant amount of drugs and it has a street value of more than 15 hundred dollars," Beal said. "So we're glad that we were able to get this off the street."
