Paris teen pleads guilty to September murder
PARIS, TX — A Paris teen pled guilty Wednesday to the murder of 25-year-old man last September. Veta Monique Robinson, 18, shot and killed Dontrae Mitchell, 25, of Paris, in the 1300 block of 11th Street Northeast back on September 19, 2008.

PARIS, TX — A Paris teen pled guilty Wednesday to the murder of 25-year-old man last September.
Veta Monique Robinson, 18, shot and killed Dontrae Mitchell, 25, of Paris, in the 1300 block of 11th Street Northeast back on September 19, 2008.
Jury selection was scheduled for Wednesday, but Robinson unexpectedly changed her plea.
The Lamar County District Attorney's office says Robinson will serve a minimum of 30 years in prison before she will be eligible for parole.
The motive for the crime was allegedly robbery.
