Abandoned Tiger has Sherman Connections

State animal control investigators say the 15-week-old cub, who's found a temporary home at the McKinney SPCA shelter, was born to a breeder in Walters, Oklahoma then transported to Sherman and then to Conroe, Texas and back, all before he was found abandoned on a rural road in Frisco.

Investigators are searching for who dumped the cub. They could face serious criminal charges. Whoever is responsible for dumping the cub could face a year in prison on charges of animal abandonment and a $5,000 fine.
