An upper level wave will interact with a warm and very moist air mass to generate thunderstorms through Wednesday. Lightning and torrential rainfall that could cause flash flooding are the primary threats, 1 to 4 inches...with a secondary threat of damaging winds. Turn around, don't drown!
10-13-06 - With only three more weeks to find a new job, 195 Ethan Allen employees in Atoka County got a boost in their job search.
Around 45 different employers from Coal, Atoka, and Pushmataha counties set up shop at the Kiamichi Technology Center this afternoon as potential employers made their way from table to table. Many folks were filling out applications and conducting on-site interviews.
The job fair was open to everyone, but nearly 90 percent were from the Ethan Allen plant. They say it has been hard to deal with but are looking forward to the future.
The majority of the Ethan Allen employees will be let go at the first of November.
