A Moderate to Enhanced risk for severe storms has been issued for Texoma. Storms look to become strong to severe and will be firing up around 11am. Primary threats include heavy rainfall leading to flooding, large hail, damaging winds, and an isolated tornado is possible as well but chances aren't very high. 10-16-06 - A car slammed into a Sherman home Monday morning, and police say the driver fled the scene.
It happened just before 4:00 AM in the 700 Block of West Lamberth. Sherman police say a red, 2000 Ford Sedan, drove through three yards, knocking down trees and mailboxes. Police say the car, then crashed into the front bedroom of a home, then drove but before police arrived.
No one was injured in the accident, but police are still looking for that car and the driver.
The car is described as a 2000, 4-door, red sedan. Authorities say they aren’t sure what the exact model is, but they do have the license plate: ZL3SBY
