Sherman Deadly Shooting

11/27/03-- A deadly early morning shooting took the life of a Sherman man on Thanksgiving Day.
It happened at the intersection of Princess and Hoard Streets around 1:30 this morning, at the Sherman Housing Authority, where 32-year-old Robert Ray Parker was shot to death.
Parker was transported to Wilson N. Jones Medical Center where he died in the emergency room of shotgun wounds.
Sherman police are investigating the crime as a murder, though they are not releasing the identity or description of the suspect.
Police say Parker probably did not live at the Housing Authority.
