Police investigating armed robbery of Whitesboro convenience store
WHITESBORO, TX -- Police are investigating an overnight robbery at the Allsups Convenience Store off U.S. Highway 377 around 1:45 Tuesday morning.

WHITESBORO, TX -- Police are investigating an overnight robbery at the Allsups Convenience Store off U.S. Highway 377 around 1:45 Tuesday morning.

Police say the suspect walked into the store and held the clerk at gunpoint. He took a small amount of cash and took off on foot down U.S. Highway 82, and then jumped in a getaway car driven by another person.

The suspect is described as a white man, about six feet tall, last seen wearing a white hooded sweatshirt and shorts.
