11-01-06 - The District Attorney will seek the death penalty for the man accused of killing his estranged wife's boyfriend and taking her hostage.
James Eric Parker appeared in a Carter County courtroom Wednesday morning.
In June, police say he shot 44-year-old Danny Watterson in his Dickson home then kidnapped his estranged wife, Kimberly.
The judge set a trial date for sometime this month and the DA presented a “Bill of Particulars,” which means Parker could face the death penalty if convicted.
