11-10-06 The city of Sherman is now allowing residents to recycle glass curbside. It's the first time since the curbside recycling program started in 2001 that the city is allowing people to recycle their glass.
Residents can now recycle all colors of bottles and jars in their teal recycling containers.
The move will help the city remove glass from the waste stream and will create some more opportunities for the city.
If you don’t have a teal recycling bin or need your bin fixed, you can call the city for help.
