Arrest Made in Wilson, OK Robbery

12-9-06 Carter County Sheriff's Deputies arrested a man they say robbed a Wilson, Oklahoma convenience store and shot the store clerk Thursday night. 26-year-old Donald Granberg was taken into custody Saturday morning.

Investigators say Granberg walked into the Budget Mart and demanded money. Granberg is also accused of shooting the clerk in the leg while he was on the phone with police dispatchers.

Around $3,000 in cash was taken during the robbery. Deputies later found a stolen car Granberg was believed to have been driving.

Granberg is charged with armed robbery and use of a weapon with the intent to kill.
