12-12-06 Residents at a Calera nursing home have been told to move somewhere else. An administrator at Calera Manor Nursing Home says the facility lost its Medicaid license, and all 21 residents must leave.
Staffers at the home say there were some problems listed on inspections. They say they repaired those problems but the state never came to check.
Workers at the home said they are not closing down. Instead, they're waiting for the Medicaid license renewal. There is no word yet on when the renewal will come.
