Miss Oklahoma 2009 comes home to Ada
ADA, OK -- Newly crowned Miss Oklahoma 2009 Taylor Treat is back in her hometown of Ada, Oklahoma.

ADA, OK -- Newly crowned Miss Oklahoma 2009 Taylor Treat is back in her hometown of Ada, Oklahoma.

Taylor Treat, the reigning Miss Oklahoma 2009 was greeted by dozens of hometown friends and family members in Ada on Wednesday night.

A ceremony for her homecoming was held in the Chickasaw Community Center.

Mayor Roger Cupps proclaimed today Taylor Treat Day in honor of her and her high accomplishments.

Taylor says she couldn't be more excited to be back in Ada and says she is working on her platform of service learning.

"Ada's home I come here I know where I want to go eat, who I want to go see," Treat said. "It's been a great wonderful community to grow up in. I am very proud to say I am from Ada, Oklahoma."

Treat will compete for Miss America in January of 2010 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
