The Oklahoma Court of Civil Appeals made a huge ruling for drivers in Dickson. The court ruled Friday that the city can not fine speeders more than $50 when they get a ticket. The court upheld a Carter County judge's decision to restrict how much the town could assess in a fine. That decision came from when Sulphur Doctor Franklin House sued the city after getting a $398 fine for a speeding ticket. He was driving 65 miles an hour in a 45 mile-per-hour zone.
