12-18-06 After budget cuts left them shorthanded, Dickson Police arwill now employ volunteers to help fight crime.
City Trustees instated a reserve officer program at their meeting, Monday night.
Trustees say they will hold a special meeting on January 8th to review credentials for two reserve officer candidates.
The candidates will then go through a training school in Love County to become volunteer officers.
Right now, Dickson has only one full-time officer, their Chief.
