12-21-06 An Ardmore family got the gift of a new home just in time for the holidays. Habitat for Humanity presented Kimberly Wright and her 3 kids with the key to their new home in the northeast part of town. It's the first home in a new addition on a street the charity has named "Hope Street." With enough donations, they hope to build 28 more three bedroom houses just like the Wright’s. Valero pitched in $80,000 and countless hours of labor to make Kimberly's house a reality and she's forever grateful for it. Kimberly actually applied for the program in 2001 and was selected, but sewer problems backed up construction.
