12-22-06 The City of Sherman has given one local park a little athletic flavor. A brand new basketball court and driveway has been constructed at Old Settlers Park on Ross Road. Features include four new goals, a water fountain, and benches for when players need to take a break. The project was put in motion by Councilman Terrence Steele costing close to $250,000. The courts are to anyone who wants to play.
