DENISON, TX -- Construction began on U.S. Highway 75 in Denison on Monday, and the Texas Department of Transporation is asking drivers to slow down and be careful.

The construction company is setting barricades and signs Monday. When that is complete, crews will lay hot mix and stripe the roadway between FM 691 and Spur 503.

TX-DOT says the nearly $160,000 project should be finished by July 31st.
