Authorities on Lookout for Police Impersonator

11-14-03 - A cop impersonator is on the loose in North Texas. The Lamar County Sheriff says a man pulled over an Oklahoma woman on Tuesday afternoon using a red light on the dash of his tan Ford Crown Victoria. It happened on Texas highway 19/24, 5 miles south of Paris.
The imposter told the woman her car had been reported stolen.
But when she refused to get out of the car he said he had made a mistake and walked away.
The suspect is a white male in his 50's with salt and pepper hair. He is six feet tall and weighs 170 lbs. If you have any information, contact the Sheriff at 903-737-2400.
