Woman Killed in Ardmore Accident

11-18-03 Authorities worked for hours cleaning up the scene of a deadly car accident Tuesday morning.
Around 9:30 am authorities say Carmen Cavender was driving a Dodge pickup when she lost control and ran off the side of highway 70, four miles east of Ardmore. Her pickup hit a tree, literally wrapping around it. The accident wasn't called in until an hour later when a passerby noticed the truck.
The 29 year old Ardmore woman was pronounced dead on the scene after she'd been trapped for 3.5 hours.
