Man Falls 50ft From Atop a Billboard

12-03-03 - A Dallas man is lucky to be alive after falling 50 feet from a billboard in Van Alystne Wednesday morning. 27 year old Bryan Mitchell was tagging along with two friends putting up a new advertisement on a billboard at Highway 75 and FM 121. Mitchell was not wearing a harness. He lost his footing and fell 50 feet and hit power lines along the way. Mitchell was airlifted by LifeStar to Parkland Hospital in Dallas with 2nd and 3rd degree burns, a fractured shoulder and leg. Authorities say he is lucky to be alive.
