Very heavy rainfall is expected in several waves, early Friday morning, again Friday evening/night, and a final round during the day Saturday. Storm totals to 8 inches are possible.
Many Oklahomans headed south to Texoma to escape heatless homes, bringing more business to hotels along Highway 75 from Durant to Sherman.
Residents from as far north as Mc Alester have been filling up and staying in hotels to take advantage of hot water and electricity. Most of the refugees have stayed in Durant. But hotel officials in Sherman say they have been accommodating guests as well.
All hotels are doing their best to keep guests happy while dealing with problems of their own caused by the winter weather.
