Very heavy rainfall is expected in several waves, early Friday morning, again Friday evening/night, and a final round during the day Saturday. Storm totals to 8 inches are possible.
Almost a week has passed since the ice storm, but hundreds of people are still without power in the northern part of the Texoma area.
PEC crews have been working twenty hours a day to repair broken poles and downed power lines.
Currently more than 3,000 people remain without power in Murray, Pontotoc, Coal, and Johnston Counties.
Officials hope to have power fully restored within the next few days, but the melting ice poses more problems. Sometimes crews end up repairing the same lines more than once.
There is no shortage of supplies needed to repair the problems. Officials say they were able to stock up before the storm hit.
