Fire Kills Woman in Gainesville

12-5-03 - A fire south of Gainesville destroys a home and takes the life of a woman Friday morning.

Forty-six-year-old Donna Parrish died inside a house on farm road 1630 just south of Gainesville. It began around 8 p.m. and by the time firefighters arrived, the rent house was fully engulfed. Parrish was found in the kitchen.

Officials are still investigating how the fire started.
