COOKE COUNTY, TX -- A Valley View man is dead after being run over in southern Cooke County late Monday night.

DPS Troopers say 19-year-old Devin McKinnon was laying in the middle of the road on westbound FM 922 just east of FM 372 around ten last night when he was run over by a 2008 Infiniti.

That car stopped in an attempt to alert oncoming traffic, but two more vehicles also ran over McKinnon a short time later.

He was pronounced dead at the scene. No citations were issued.

Troopers say the investigation is ongoing.
