Soldier's Family Reacts to Saddam Capture

12-15-03 - From Washington D.C. to right here in Texoma, millions of families turned their attention to the capture of Saddam Hussein. The news is especially sweet for families of soldiers in Iraq right now. Jim and Joan Smith were in church when they heard the news of Hussein's capture. Their son, Sergeant Jim Brown, has been in Iraq since March 1st; the day the war began. He wasn't directly involved in Saddam's capture today but his parent's say he's been a big part of the war effort. Now they hope the Iraqi people can rebuild their war-torn country. But at the same time they know Jim is still not out of harms way. The Smith's say their son is scheduled to return home in late February.
