12-15-03 – Eighteen-year-old Patrick Weiner was shot in the face over the weekend while authorities say he was visiting his co-worker in Kingston.
It happened at a home in the 400 block of Oak Ridge Rd on Saturday night. The Durant teen was flown to Parkland Hospital in Dallas, but later died.
Monday Marshall County deputies arrested 29-year-old Terry Lynn Charles and charged him with second-degree murder. Deputies say he was drinking and smoking marijuana at the time of the shooting.
Both men worked at the Durant Walmart together. No word on a motive for the crime.
