The Oklahoma Association of Broadcasters has announced that KXII-TV has received the Outstanding Achievement Awards in 3 categories, including Best Weathercast in the Non-Metro Television Division.
The Outstanding Achievement in Broadcasting Awards Program is an annual competition encouraging the highest standards of reporting, programming, and promotion. It is designed to stimulate a desire for excellence among Oklahoma broadcasters in serving their public.
In addition to Best Weathercast, KXII-TV also received awards for Best General Promotion for the First News Hotline, and Best Sports Image Promotion for Friday Night Blitz.
The OAB is a non-profit organization of commercial radio and television stations organized to serve the public interest and promote the cooperation and prosperity of its members.
