It happened around 9:30 p.m. at the apartments off of South Hwy 1417. Police say a man wearing a mask forced his way into the apartment of the two victims.

He first stabbed the son in his lower abdomen, then his father in the upper left chest. Their wounds were not life-threatening and both were released from the hospital Saturday afternoon.

The suspect has not been caught, but one of the victims tells First News that he believes it was a former co-worker.
