A hunting accident claimed the life of a seventeen-year-old on Sunday afternoon. Choctaw County officials say Chris Kaiser, 17, was shot and killed while he and two others were hog hunting near Boswell.
Choctaw County Sheriff Lewis Collins said it appears the bullet ricocheted off the hog's head into Kaiser's chest. Officials say one of the men ran to a nearby residence for help.
The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigations is performing an autopsy to confirm whether or not the shooting was an accident.
