AT&T authorities are blaming the rising cost of copper for some recent thefts from their business.
A spokesperson says the Hugo facility has been hit three times by thieves who have stolen copper phone cables just in the last two months.
Now the company is offering a $3,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of these thieves.
The criminals will face grand larceny charges and could face up to five years in prison if convicted.
If you have any information about the crimes, call 1-800-807-4205.
