Church to Provide Affordable Daycare

02-15-07 With the rising costs of childcare, one local church is reaching out to the community to provide an affordable alternative.

The Key Care Learning Center, a ministry of the Key Memorial United Methodist Church, held an open house Thursday to unveil their affordable childcare program that's designed to reach low-income families.

The center is accepting children ages two to school-age. They'll offer childcare from 6:30am until 6pm Monday through Friday.

The cost of five days of childcare will cost about 90 dollars.
