An Ardmore coach stuck to his word today and got a new 'do' because of it. In front of hundreds of screaming Charles Evans Elementary students, physical education coach Will Trisciana got a new spike haircut.
At the beginning of the year, the coach made a bet with 2nd-grader Joshua Peacock that if he reached 100 points in the accelerated reader program he would restyle his hair in the form of a mohawk.
Joshua reached his goal long before the school year ended, and today Coach 'T' paid up. Almost.
He chickened out on the mohawk and settled for a spike.
