Ardmore Man Stabbed in Bar Fight

1-24-04-- An Ardmore man was stabbed in the stomach late Friday night outside of Club 70, off of Sam Noble, in Ardmore.
Tonight, the suspect is in custody after he turned himself in to police.
Cecil Herman Kent, Jr. is accused of stabbing Lonnie Herschel in the stomach just before 10 pm Friday night.
As Kent was leaving the bar, police say he and the victim got into a fight. Kent is accused of punching Herschel, then stabbing him in the stomach before taking off in his girlfriend's car.
Herschel was taken to Mercy Memorial Hospital in Ardmore where he was treated and released.
Police say the knife used in the stabbing was recovered in Kent's girlfriend's car.
He now faces one charge of assault with a deadly weapon.
