6 taken to hospital after 2 accidents on Hwy 75

GRAYSON COUNTY, TX -- Two accidents occurring within minutes of each other on Highway 75 Friday morning sent 6 people to the Hospital.

Howe Police Chief Carl Hudman says the first accident happened on northbound Highway 75 near FM 902.

Hudman says one vehicle hit the guard rail, causing 2 more cars to hit each other.

One person was taken by helicopter to Plano Medical Center, 2 others were taken to Texas Health Presbyterian WNJ.

Hudman says just south of that accident, near exit 53, a car driving at full speed hit another vehicle, causing it to hit 3 other vehicles.

3 of the 4 drivers were taken to Texas Health Presbyterian WNJ.

Hudman says they are still investigating the cause of that accident and that he driver could face a charge of intoxication assault.
