Sisk Guilty of Child Molestation

1-28-04 - A former employee of the Durant school district had plead guilty in Federal court to molesting children. Todd Sisk changed his plea to guilty in a hearing Wednesday afternoon. He plead guilty to three charges; two counts of taking a child across state lines to engage in sex and one count of receiving child pornography. He will be sentenced sometime in the next two to three months and could face 17 to 22 years in federal prison. The move was part of a plea agreement so that all other federal charges will be dismissed. But the former public information officer for Durant schools still faces similar charges in state courts. Prosecutors allege Sisk molested adolescent and teenage boys at his home over the course of several months. Child pornography was also found on a home computer and a school laptop belonging to Sisk.
